I would love to tell you that you can jump into the market any time, any day, any market condition, fire away and be profitable. You might. But we don’t play the possibilites, we play the probabilities.
During Fed week, we have a specific plan of when and when not to trade. Mondays become like Fridays - One Good Trade and you’re done. The market tends to chop the rest of the day.
We actually got 2 setups today, but I wasn’t in for the second one. I took my own medicine and was happy to miss out.
Managing risk is your job. You’re the only one who will do it.
